title: Something to smile about.
time: 10:07 PM

Today was quite a learned lesson. Jayson and I were suppose to deposit in Security bank our NSTP Project PONDO NG PINOY today.

While trying to exchange our bills for coins from kuya vendor just beside the UST PNoval gate, a one peso coin fell from my hand. A little boy-a pulubi(talking specifically) grabbed it from the ground. Akala ko kukunin niya. When I looked, he gave it back to me and so syempre na-touch ako. I said thank you. He was watching all the while we were counting our coin donations. Puzzled, he asked, "ate, para saan yan?". "Wala project para sa pondo ng pinoy" I answered. Right after hearing that, the little boy turned to his friend and said "Uy para sa pondo ng pinoy!" and immediately got coins galing sa mga nalimos niya which were not so much and unhesitatingly dropped some to my Pondo ng pinoy bottle. FAMAZING! It was very touching and sweet knowing a kid like that would be more than willing to donate money amidst his poverty. WOEH. *lol* Pero seriously, I felt guilty. Jayson and I looked at each other with confusion. It was our first time to witness something you could call a miracle. Nako siguro kung ako yon wala na. "mamatay na" ika nga. *lol* I said thank you to the kids and gave them my sunshots. I think he was surprised pa that i gave him the UNOPENED sunshots. "Ay thank you ate!" he said. AWW. =))

Nagiging mabait na siguro ako. Haha! Everday, my friends and I would always try to find a way to do a good deed to other people. A simple offering my seat to and elderly sa lrt, buying food to the little beggars, pagpapabalot ng tirang food sa sticks and bowls and leaving it on a beggar's spot sa overpass. It feels good that with small things like that, you can make other people happy.

I just wanted to share this little experience of mine. Hihi.
